Welcome! I'm Lauren, an Orlando based actor, who proudly hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I received my BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota Duluth, am actively pursuing my MFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida and am currently represented by The Diamond Agency.

Currently, I'm performing with the Orlando Shakes' Bare Bard series in Henry VI Part II, where I'm taking on the roles of John Holland, John Stanley, Iden, Bolingbroke, and Others. This unique production embraces Shakespeare's original practices: one week of rehearsals, no director, no designers, no tech, just Shakespeare's words and the relationship between the actor and the audience.

In the fall I toured high schools, performed Lady M in Macbeth with the Orlando Shakes and spent the holidays understudying (and performing) the roles of Ghost of Christmas Past, Martha Cratchitt, and Ensemble in the Shakes' annual production of A Christmas Carol.

Last year I was on stage as Vertumnus, Hermes, Poseidon and Others in Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman and Charlotta in The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov.

Up next, I'm excited to be joining the Orlando Shakes again in their TYA series Stuart Little, where I'll be finding and creating the characters of the Neighbor, Bureau Chief, Dr. Carey, Dog and Ensemble, as well as understudying Mrs. Little, Zeke, and Ames.

My thesis, education, and personal life explore and encourage a holistic perspective of acting, one that examines a strong relationship between the mind and body.

When I'm not on stage or behind the camera, embarking on a new house project, practicing yoga, or exploring the outdoors with my two dogs.
